Public Permissive Referendum
The Greig Town Board resolved at the May 2025 meeting to move a total, not to exceed $8000, from the Building Maintenance Capital Reserve Fund. The funds will be used to purchase new Door Locks and a Camera System. These will be installed in the Town Hall and Highway Garage buildings. They will increase security for employees and equipment. Resolution shall take effect 30 days after adoption, unless the public files a petition signed by 5% of the property owners, or 100 owners, whichever is less, to require a public referendum as defined by Town Law. This resolution may be viewed at the Clerk's Office during regular business hours.
